Overview
Learning approach (case-based & interactive)
This Summer Course is designed as an intensive learning program combining face-to-face classroom sessions with interactive and experiential activities. Facilitators deliver core theoretical concepts and guide participants through structured case studies discussed collaboratively in group work.
The program applies a case-based learning approach to strengthen analytical skills, deepen conceptual understanding, and foster active self-learning both individually and in teamwork settings. Guided discussions, presentations, and reflective writing encourage critical engagement with real-world challenges.
Field visit & International Community Engagement
To enrich the learning experience and bridge theory with practice, participants will take part in a field visit and conduct an International Community Engagement (PKM Internasional) activity at the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) in Nagari Kubu Gadang, Padang Panjang City.
The community initiative is led by an accomplished woman leader recognized with national and international awards for sustainable tourism and community empowerment. This field engagement provides direct exposure to gender-responsive rural development and climate-adaptive community initiatives, aligned with the program’s learning objectives.
