The study program of Master in Biotechnology is conducted in a lecture pattern using a semester credit system (called credits or sks) with a study load of minimum 38 credits, including seminars and theses, which are spread into 4 semesters (2 years) and can be taken less than 2 years or shorter. Academic activities are carried out with the guidance of lecturers who holds Doctoral degree and Professor. Course schedules are held from Monday to Sunday at the Postgraduate Building of Kampus Unand Limau Manis, Padang.
