- Vision
In accordance with Andalas University’s Vision and Graduate Program’s Vision, the Development Studies Doctorate Program (PDSP) sets its Vision as follow:
"In 2025 became the best Doctoral Degree Program in Development Studies in Indonesia and leading internationally in building thought, conception and the implementation of sustainable development in Indonesia especially in developing countries in general”.
- Mission
- Developing education in the development of multi-dimensional ideas and conceptions of sustainable development.
- Developing research in various aspects of development by applying the interdisciplinary perspectives and conception of sustainable development.
- Disseminating thought, conception and other applicable recommendation frameworks that are beneficial to the development and improvement of the welfare and quality of life of the community at large.
- Objectives of the Program
- Developing the doctoral program in development studies that able to support the development of science and technology and its application as solution of various development problems (T1)
- Improving the quality and quantity of human resources that have excellent analytical and critical arguments to the conception and implementation of development at specific sectors. (T2)
- Developing the spirit to produce scientific works that benefit to the mankind generally (T3)
