The objectives of this Master Degree Program is to produce compentences of the graduatues as scientist-analyst, scientist-practitioner and scientist-planner, with the following characteristics :

1. Have a perspective and idealism about democratic and deliberative regional and rural development;
2. Have the theoretical and conceptual capacity to translate societal issues into regional and rural development policies and programs;
3. Have scientific and technological equipments to plan, implement and evaluate regional and rural development programs.
